Polyonics XT-660 is a high temperature aluminum tag material with a high opacity, white topcoat specifically designed for thermal transfer printing. This 9mil tag stock was developed as a tag material to be hole-punched and attached by loop or hook to identify materials that have been exposed to extreme temperatures.

The XT-660 has a backing material to increase durability and physical strength, and helps to avoid curling of the tag material as it is used through heating and cooling cycles.

Metalgard™ tag material  is finding its way into applications such as heat treating of springs, asset tracking, identification of coils and tubing and related products.  The XT-660 is rated up to 400°C and is an ideal solution for real-time identification of a batch or an individual product prior to the heat treating process.
