UL94 Recognized; Polyimide and Polyester Label Materials

Polyonics recognizes that label and tape materials can make a great source of fuel for propagating fire. Polyonics offers three materials that are designed to be flame retardant to the UL94 standard; the XF-603 1mil, halogen free, flame retardant polyimide label material and the XF-604 a 2mil, halogen free polyester label material, the XF-609 is a 2 mil flame retardant polyimide label material.

1. XF-603 & XF-609 Polyimide
   The XF-603 & XF-609 have been designed to meet the UL94 VTM-0 performance level. This material was is used in applications that require self extinguishing properties.In addition, the product is compliant to the latest REACH/RO HS requirements and each lot is certified to be halogen free to the IEC 61249-2-21 levels.
2. XF-604- Polyester
   The XF-604 has been designed to meet the UL94 VTM-1 standard. This unique material utilizes a top coated polyethylene terephthalate film and adhesive combination to provide the flame retardant properties. This material is REACH/RoHS compliant is certified to be halogen free to the IEC 61249-2-21 levels.
