TRIBOGARD® ESD Label
Stock Product Family Overview

ESD Safe Polyimide Labels and Polyester Labels

Tribogard® labels are static dissipative, and withstand manufacturing temperatures up to 400ºF (204ºC), without losing any of their dissipative properties. Labels printed with the appropriate thermal transfer ribbon withstand a wide range of harsh chemicals and solvents used in the PCB manufacturing process. For more information on ribbon/label material compatibilities, see Thermal Transfer Printable Polyimide and Polyester ESD Labels.

The surface resistivity is >106 ohms. Static discharge is less than 100 volts/sq in, when the label peeled from the liner.

XF 561 and 562 are ESD polyimide label materials. Although polyimide label (or kapton label) products can thermally and physically withstand temperatures up to 1,000ºF (528ºC), the esd properties of the polyimide label are affected under these conditions. Polyonics offers an extensive product line of polyimide label materials, if ESD label stock is not required. For more information, see Polyimide and Kapton Labels
