The ratings are meant solely as a guide, based on Polyonics testing results, which are accurate to the best of our knowledge. We make no representation as to the suitability of a particular ribbon with use for a substrate for specific application. W = Wax

Often referred to as "standard" or "general purpose."
W/R = Wax/Resin Sometimes referred to as "combination ribbons."
R = Resin Resin-based ribbons offer the highest level of image durability.
