This is a military standard which is very common sense...the labels used for the LOGMARS program (the US DOD barcode initiative, MIL-STD 129, and -1189) must be useable for the intended application. For example, for outdoor exposure you must use a laminated label or approved plastic label; for high temperatures, a suitable polyimide label or kapton label. For details, click on MIL-PRF 61002. |
