What is the difference between your XF-582 & XF-587? |

Very similar, yes. The same? No. The difference between the two is the adhesive. The XF-587 was designed to survive in applications were the XF-582 did not. In our lab, the XF-587’s adhesive shows better tolerance to higher temperatures and better peel strength between 24 & 72 hours than the XF-582. In the actual marketplace, XF-587 has shown in some PCB processes to outperform the XF-582. Always remember though, adhesive performance, like many products are influenced by multiple factors inclusive of: dwell time, surface to be labeled (surface energy, substrate type), temperature & time of exposure, chemical exposures and temps., etc. |
