About XF-803...

 Why do my XF-803 samples seem to exhibit very low tack? (It appears that it will not adhere very well.)
A:
 You are correct in your observation. Our VHT adhesive does exhibit low initial tack. This type of adhesive system needs one of two things -- Time or Temperature.
  • Over time, our adhesive begins to increase its strength. How long - usually between 12 and 24 hours depending on the surface finish and temperature.
  • When the product gets heated, bonding begins immediately. In fact, if you apply our XF-803 at 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it will bond immediately.
