Q: |
Why is it, when I scratch the printed image with my fingernail or other object, it appears that the XF-803 has no resistance to scratching? |
A: |
XF-803 is a very specialized top coat system requiring “firing” or baking to achieve mark permanence. This is especially true with our PRC-33 ribbon. Other ribbons may exhibit better durability before firing... but be careful, the print may not survive the maximum temperature of the manufacturing process.
Always test in actual customer environment! |
