First, you will need to understand at what product temperature the end user wishes to apply the label. This material is designed to go on cold (below 104 degrees Fahrenheit).
You should also verify that the surface conditions are relatively clean and smooth. Rough, scaly or oily surfaces usually means the label will fail to adhere. Chemical washes and soaks can also be of concern if the product has not been fired to increase durability. You will likely need to test in these types of situations. |
