How long must XF-803 be heated to achieve mark permanence? |

Unfortunately, there is no single answer to this question. Firing of the label is a function of time and temperature. The lower the temperature, the longer the time required to achieve mark permanence. Once cured, the top coat and image will survive at “Maximum” temperature indefinitely. This holds true for all three products. Polyonics can provide a convenient document that combines the following time/temperature charts for both adhesive and top coat. Table I below illustrates this issue.
