Once again, time and temperature play a roll in product performance. Using the following Table II, you can see that as the temperature rises, the life expectancy of the adhesive shortens. Table I indicates the time to cure (harden) the top coat and print combination of Metalgard™ product numbers XF-801 & XF-803 label & XT-660 tag materials using Polyonics PRC-33 ribbon. Table II outlines the amount of time at a given temperature that the adhesive will survive. Customers should always test in actual environment.
