Q: |
Is this material hard to convert? |
A: |
To date, we have had excellent feedback from Converters processing this material. It can be very important to be sure your equipment is clean and free of debris on the handling rolls. Being that this is aluminum, contamination on converting equipment can cause small dents in the material. You may also want to leave yourself a little extra waste in the matrix surrounding the label (0.25” instead of the standard 0.125). Aluminum can tear easily if nicked, especially at higher speeds. |
