FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
"SUPER-
PRINTABLE" KAPTON®
RESISTS SOLDER PASTE REMOVER
AND OTHER HIGHLY ACTIVE SOLVEN
Westmoreland,
NH-- POLYONICS, Inc., announced a new thermal transfer printable
polyimide (or Kapton®) label material which withstands process
temperatures of up to 1,000° F. Labels printed with appropriate
wax/resin thermal transfer ribbons and the NEW SUPERBUFF (XF 541)
can withstand the harshest solvents, cleaners, fluxes, and saponifiers,
without overlamination. Therefore, only resin ribbons could resist
such diverse and specialized process chemistries. In fact, many
of these "ACTIVE" solvents and cleaners obliterate standard
resin printed images on other premium Kapton® products.
The
result is that the user can have premium label performance, using
specific wax/resin ribbons, while saving money on ribbons. Equally
important is that lower print head temperatures can be used which
will prolong print head life. XF 541 is also printable with dot
matrix and laser printers.
Polyonics
is widely recognized as the premier manufacturer of labeling materials
for harsh environment/industrial bar code label applications. Polyonics
markets and distributes its products through commercial label printers
and converters worldwide.
