thermal transfer printable polyimide (or Kapton®) label material,
XF-546 which withstands "flash" process temperatures of
up to 1,000° F. XF-546 is now being used at temperatures up
to 800° for up to one hour, due to a proprietary adhesive. Typical
uses have been on hot glass or hot metal. Labels printed with appropriate
thermal transfer ribbons and the XF-546 can withstand the harshest
solvents, oils & chemicals, without overlamination.
