Heat resistant polyimide and aluminum bar code label materials include high opacity, white topcoats specifically designed to maintain high contrast and readable bar codes through the extreme temperatures and harsh environments typical of hot metal processing. These hot metal labels and tags also include aggressive PSAs designed to remain firmly affixed to the hot metals throughout these same high temperature processes. Hot metal labels can be customized to include various information, such as serial numbers, barcodes, logos, or alphanumeric codes.

The HIGHdegree line is heat resistant and hot metal rated up to 600 °C. Labels can be applied directly to, or tags hung from, many hot metals such as coils, rolls, bars, sheets, rebar, tubes, wire bundles, etc. as they leave their furnaces.
